At Edkey, we offer a comprehensive and competitive benefits package for you and your family.

Here are a few things to keep in mind when you are enrolling in benefits as a new hire.

  • Full-time employees working a minimum of 30 hours per week on a regular basis are eligible for benefits.
  • You have the first 30 days after your start date to enroll in benefits for the remainder of the plan year.
  • Your medical insurance benefit will begin on the 1st of the month following thirty (30) days of employment.
  • You will not have an opportunity to change coverage until Open Enrollment in summer of 2025, unless you have a qualifying life event.
  • Review your benefits resources and enrollment instructions sent to your email by UKG. ​

  • Enter your password. If you’ve forgotten your password, HR can provide it to you.
  • Click on “Open Enrollment” under the “Myself” tab.
  • Follow the enrollment process to enroll in benefits, add dependents and verify your beneficiaries are up to date.

What is a Qualifying Life Event?

Qualifying Life Events are significant life events that allow individuals to make changes to their health insurance coverage outside of the regular enrollment period. Examples of Qualifying Life Events include marriage, divorce, birth or adoption of a child, and loss of health insurance coverage. If you experience a Qualifying Life Event, you must submit a request for the change to Human Resources within 30 days of the event.
