Maintaining good oral hygiene is paramount to your overall health and wellness. That is why BPU has partnered with BlueKC to provide our full-time employees with affordable dental coverage.

Which Plan Should I Choose?

PPO
$2,500 Deductible

Offering the richest employee option, the Preferred Provider Organization (PPO) plan boasts a wide network and doesn’t require employees to meet their deductible before coverage kicks in. With copays and coinsurance, it’s also Flexible Spending Account (FSA) eligible, but not Health Savings Account (HSA) eligible.

HDHP
$3,200 Deductible

As the only plan facilitating enrollment in the tax-advantaged Health Savings Account (HSA), the High Deductible Health Plan (HDHP) empowers employees to set aside pre-taxed funds for medical expenses. However, it mandates meeting the deductible before coverage commences.

Doctor’s Plan
$5,000 Deductible

With the lowest employee premium, the Doctor’s Plan offers a $0 copay on in-network primary care visits, though it has a narrower network limited to Maricopa and Pinal Counties. Nonetheless, it can lead to savings on payroll deductions and member care and doesn’t require meeting the deductible before copays apply. Like the PPO, it’s FSA eligible but not HSA eligible.
